	LET US COME TO YOU! OOTB MOBILES: How does it work? Many families love to come to OOTB but would prefer a weekly class or a workshop more often. However, perhaps they live too far. The mobile is a perfect idea. There are several various mobile options: (give us your ideas too we have created many specially designed to fit a groups needs) 1) In Home or church/ building: A group of friends get together wanting a class on a specified topic( any of the ones we offer besides Potter’s wheel) The person co coordinating the group will receive their child free when there are 8 or more participants. These may meet for year long time ( Sept-May) or for an 8 week session.( when our sessions begin and end in studio so we are on same rotation) 2) Home school Hybrid schools:( these meet for other subjects once or twice a week) OOTB comes to add to their art curriculum usually enhancing their studies in science, history or geography. We are generally there l hour to 1.5 hours if weekly. If monthly workshops we are there 2.0 hours. 3) Learning centers. Daycares/ schools Private: WE can be part of an after school program every week or once a month. We can even be your art teacher there! We are more than just paper and crayons or markers. We do a full art curriculum for your school. 4) Private workshops or birthday parties: Youth groups/ showers, and more…. For children, teens and adults. We can come to you and help design an event just for your group! Some of the CLASS OPTIONS are: all use clay, drawing,. Painting, printmaking, collage and more) Meet the Masters: a different master each week Meet the Impressionist ( or modern or Ancients etc) depending on your needs can last 8 weeks or a whole year. Fabulous Folk Art ( can be 8 week or year long) includes multi media of drawing, clay, painting, collage, printmaking etc Art thru the ages ( all age levels) This is the MOST popular mobile and in studio class…. It is art in a chronological order by time period using many various media. ( elementary ages – high school)While this works with all curriculums it works esp. well with Classical Education and Charlotte Mason approaches. Art around the World: A sampler 8 weeks of clay, 8 weeks of drawing, 8 weeks of painting and 8 weeks of multimedia based on a country of choice ( example Asian art) NEW NEW NEW this year and already filling up! Science and art come together: Designed to work well with Exploring creation by Jeannie Fulbright but can be used with any science curriculum. Each week students will study artists and styles of art based on the science they are currently studying. Clay, drawing , sketching, painting, collage,sculpture,multi media used. Art Topics in cluded: Botany/Under the sea animals/ Flying creatures/ Zoology Land animals/ Astronomy/ Human Anatomy.Pick ther one your group likes best! These can be year long or 8 weeks courses. ( NEW NEW NEW… “Museum Madness” let us plan and enhance your visits! We have wonderful relationships with all the local museums in Atlanta. Let us plan your trip for your group then co ordinate a project to go along with it. Example would be the current Salvador Dali exhibit at The High Musuem of art, we would return to create our own work in clay or painting after being inspired there. We can do these with Michael C Carlos, Botanical Gardens, Duluth Children’s Musuem, North Georgia Pottery, Mark of The Potter, Nature centers and more! 5) HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS / Credit classes: we are happy to offer credit classes and assist your high school student in building a portfolio for College. While we hold these in the studio we are happy to also do the same program for your group! We were blessed to double the size of our mobile classes last year and appear we will double them again this year reaching out to so many students that may have never been able to come here on a regular basis! We have most of our year long programs planned by July 20th of each year so that we may assign the proper teachers, gather supplies and prepare for the school year. However, we will certainly consider 8 week mobile classes and workshops based on availability in our schedules. Our teachers are art educators who also meet monthly to be trained in the “OOTB” methods to teach in a multi sensory approach in art using visuals, games, and hands on teaching of media and methods.! We want each child to have the tools to feel they have learned something new however we would be very disappointed if everyone’s projects looked just alike! (We would not be very Out of the Box would we?)
